Aloha Day 6

Day 5 of Hawaii consisted of me becoming very sick, with Norwalk Virus...not food poisoning apparetly! So no pictures of that I'm sorry to report. Moving right along into Day 6. Our final day in Hawaii.

We went on a boating excursion called Fairwinds. And I got to Snuba Dive!! It was so cool. It was just like scuba diving except you don't have to be certified. I kept wanting to go down further but you are attached to this rope type thing so you couldn't go all the way down, and I accidentally hit the coral a few times...hope I didn't kill it.

After that my dad and I were in the water and a huge heard of Dolphins came where our boat was. I'm not kidding there was probably like 30 dolphins ( and there were babies too!). They were swimming under us and all around us. They were so close I could touch them, but I was a bit nervous to. We were probably out there for 30 minuets just watching them and being around them. It was my favorite memory from Hawaii and one I will cherish forever.
See that orange drink? It's pedialyte. I was trying to rehydrate after my illness issue and apparently that is also something people use for a hangover? Who knew and everyone (including the cute crew men) thought I was hungover.  The only Mormon on the boat and I was accused of having a hangover. Nice.
Dress: Nordstrom. Belt: H&M
We finished off our final night having appetizers down at the hotel close to us. They played me and my moms song upon request by my dad. It's that Hawaiian somewhere over the rainbow song. I used to think it was so lame and cheesy, but now some of my very major family moments have had that as the background music.

And the next day we headed back to the mainland, and although this picture says different I was happy to go back.

Aloha Day 4

Day 4 consisted of kayaking in the ocean and going to a luau.

We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. As well as eating fresh pineapple on the water.

Dress: Shade. Shoes: Nordstrom.

The Luau was full of pictures taken, fake hawaiian tattoos, hula and fire stick lessons, too much food to handle, and a show.

Aloha Day 3

Day 3 in Hawaii= 12 hour tour of the islands! I love these tours, I have gone on one once before, but this time our guide was kinda weird...he talked about his prison days, football, and when he would ask a question that was obviously meant to be rhetorical he wouldn't give the answer and wouldn't give anymore information about the subject...and I fell asleep a few times. Sitting in the car is hard for me. But it was still joyous!

1. Day began at 7:30am.   2. Boarded a toy bus.  3. Got really excited!   4. Went crazy (around 4ish?)   5. Nearly done and we lost it.   6. Cool big bussssss.
1. Went the Kona Coffee plantation.  2. Saw a worker from the old days.  3. Drove by Mongoose Mountain Farm ( I only care that it is called Mongoose).  4. Hey it's me. Aloha at the black sand beach.  5. Giant turtles welcomed us.  6. As well as many Asians swarming the beach.

       1. Lava Rock cafe which I initially blamed for my food poisoning, turns out it wasnt that at all! I was actually sick, and passed it on to my dad...oops.   2. Beautiful Volcano art.   3. VOLCANO  4. My favorite part of the tour. A small walk through nature. I felt like I was walking through a fairy forest! 5. Smelling the bright flowers.  6. More of my fav walk.  7. Flowers from a flower plantation type thing.  8. A real waterfall, called Rainbow waterfall...I never got the rainbow part.  9. A CAVE. HOW COOL! Except when the cave juice dripped on me and my camera.

Also guys I started school again today. Yippie!

ALOOOOOOOHAAAAAA Day 1

Well I am back. You didn't even know I went anywhere! But I did. I went to Hawaii. Can I get an Aloooooooha! And after a 13 hour travel day yesterday, 3 days of food poisoning, a 12 hour tour of the island, I would say this trip was an A+. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Lets start with day number 1.

It started off with a travel day on Monday...

I love to ride in planes, but not as much as I love boats. But its pretty close. I think the tickle feeling I get in my tummy.

Travel Outfit: Top: Second Hand. Pants: The Gap. Shoes: Steve Madden
The paparazzi followed us off the plane. My dad found a plane dedicated to DISNEYLAND. I sat next to the woman with the scarf over her face for 5 hours. We spotted hawaiian royalty...or he may have just been a man selling trinkets.  And got a lei greeting, which was actually just my mom kissing our cheeks and giving us a lei. Cause the actual people who were supposed to greet us didn't show up...

We then proceeded to find food. At Huggos, where the ground is made of sand!

Hawaii Day 1 outfit: Top; Shade. Shorts: Ann Taylor Loft. Sandals: Old Navy
We also found a live band there, and look at that! My parents. Dad is looking good in moms glasses.

We departed away from Huggos and were stopped by the beautiful hawaiian sunset.
Holding the sun in our hands was my dad's vision. He is an artist!

And day one in hawaii is done and gone in a flash!

A Break from Finals Prep

I've been working hard these past few week 'cause finals are just around the corner! Monday to be exact. I took a break from my work yesterday to go to Knott's Berry Farms with my friends, Kylee, and her brother, Parker.

We went on the best day. I tell you that much. First week of school for all the little children? The park was dead. We got to go on every ride, multiple times. The one downside? My tummy didn't really have time to recover after each ride, like at Disneyland where you wait in line for an hour. So, I started to feel a bit sick towards the end of the day, not to mention the 90 degree weather with little water.

Top: Shade. Shorts: White House Black Market. Shoes: Keds. Headband: Urban Outfitters.

Also I found a great new clothing website called Shade(where my top is from), check it out!
