Gingham and Santa Monica

I went to Santa Monica for one last fun day with my friend before we graduate. 

It was an excellent day full of roller coaster rides, ice cream, and a good old sunburn.

Getty Villa

I'm going to skip the whole "oops i've been gone forever" and tip my hat to my number 1 fan (because I know she is still here) and get on with my post!

The Getty Villa. If you have never been you must go. It is so beautiful. Not only are the pieces in the museum inspiring but the grounds of the museum are incredible in itself.

The plant life was beautiful.

I enjoyed a few photos in various places. 

 Awesome Roman and Greek architecture. 

The entire museum is a replica of what an ancient Roman or Greek palace would have looked like. Everything down to the plants was spot on with that time and you were transported back to that time.

Bicycle built for one...and some rocks

On one of my last days in Bend I went on a bike ride with my dad. 

We rode down to the river and around the wilderness. On our way back we got lost (my dad says that he knew where we were but really I don't think he did). Anyway we were riding in some pretty rock areas and I usually just get off my bike and push it through the rocky areas. But on one certain time I thought, "No! I cant do this! I've got this!!" I tired to make my bike move and I end up just falling off catching myself with hand first and then my bike taking me down the rest of the way. If you have ever seen the New Girl Episode where she just falls out of the blue it was like that. I came out with no bleeding wounds but a lot of  bruises. It was still a great ride though!

Portland Photoshoot

While in Portland, visiting my sister a few weeks ago, we had a photoshoot (mostly so I could have a new prof pic on FB.)

I climbed on things. 

We played like we were in middle school and I enjoyed my favorite element (water).

Uh also everyone I got an internship! My very first one. It's for Perry Ellis in their swimwear division! I'm so excited to start (Monday). Also school begins on Thursday. Yay for my last quarter! 

CocoPPa

CocoPPa is maybe the best App of my life. It makes your phone cute. Like real cute. 

 The idea and discovery of the app came from Pinterest (where else?) and this blog. 

Polka Dot Shirt

I have a new shirt that I we all the time. I mean for real all the time. I have to kinda keep a log of when I wear it so that I am not photographed in it too many times in one week (so what I might be crazy?) It's from The Gap. It's not in stock anymore but any of the boyfriend collared shirts are so wonderful to wear (and the same exact cut).

I usually pair it with something white or colorful on the bottom, but never blue jeans, I think it's just too much blue. 

Sister Day

I went to Portland this weekend to visit my sister and have a sister day!

We got yummy smoothies from Fat Straw

Enjoyed a ride over the St. John's Bridge and went to Cathedral Park.

And had yummy meals at different restaurants (which made me feel like I was in an episode of Portlandia)
We also went shopping and I got this nice dress (above).
