Mormon Vintage

Today my friend had to take pictures of me for her trends class! Twas' a great excuse to dress up!

These are my Toddlers & Tiara's faces. 

Scarf: no idea. Jacket: fashion district. 

Dress: thrift store in Oregon. Tights: Banana Republic. Shoes: Macy's

In addition to having my picture taken, she asked me a few questions. 

Her-- "What would you describe your style as?"

Me-- "Uhhhhh Mormon Vintage?!" Haha I had no idea! But it works!

 I'm a traveling once again this weekend for my sisters bridal shower in Portland! 

Should be pretty good looking. Gotta leave bring and early at 5am! 

General Conference

General Conference finished today. For those of you who don't know what that is it's a broadcast done by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. It happens twice a year, October and April. Every member from around the world watches it and our general authorities, as well as our living prophet, talk to us. 

I think of it as a giant pep rally for life. I just wanted to share a video of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing. They sang this hymn today and I think it is my new favorite. This isn't the exact one from today, but it is just as beautiful.
